++ was founded in 2018 by José Ignacio Vargas. ++ sees architecture as a multi-scale relationship generated between the individual, the object, the space and the urban form.
Its design process combines multidisciplinary tools, as well as the integration of research as a key factor. For the studio, it is important to participate in multidisciplinary projects of different scales in the field of design, from social projects and those of a more constructive nature to artistic projects.
The collection of the projects shown is a reflection of our ethos and the work of all the collaborators who were part of the design and execution team. We thank all the institutions and clients that allow us to carry out the development of our projects.

José Ignacio Vargas
José Ignacio Vargas is a Mexican architect who graduated with honors and the 'Catedra Blanca Cemex' award from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He worked as an assistant to the architect Ricardo Legorreta. He then continued his studies at the Glasgow School of Art. Upon his return, he collaborated with the architect Tatiana Bilbao and FRAMA Copenhagen. He graduated with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in architecture and urban design from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London (2017). Since 2018, he teaches architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

Beatrice Kretchmer
Beatrice Kretschmer Schmidt is an architect who graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. In 2017, she obtained a certificate in Japanese architecture and bio-design at Chiba University in Japan. Later on, she studied at the Milan Politecnico obtaining various master's courses such as innovation and urban planning, smart cities, architecture and design, among others. Upon graduating from the UIA, she collaborated with the architecture and urban planning office TAAU, working on large-scale projects for a year. Since December 2020 she has been collaborating with the architect José Ignacio Vargas.

Simha Cheja
Simha Cheja Misri is a student currently studying at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico. In 2021 she began working at Elizabeth Baca's architecture and interiors office. Later in 2022 she started collaborating with José Ignacio Vargas.
